UPDATE 1 - 12:30 - SAD SAVIOR

"VERSE 1: Skin against skin, covering bone on the body you're in, aggressively slim, yeah you earn the clothes you put on, covering up where you've been, leave those scars at home, let them slide down the length of your spine, cross your knees and down to your feet, they slow our momentum, each time you're reminded they're there...

CHORUS: You don't have to pretend to be an orphan anymore, you don't have to pretend to be (important?) anymore

VERSE 2: That brutal youth, Tuned and removed, tuned in a box, cached 'cross your room, it slows our momentum, each time I'm reminded it's there. Your anxious tongue, spills cautious words, yeah it's gotten so used to being misunderstood. You do your best to control it, remind yourself that you care...

CHORUS: You don't have to pretend to be an orphan anymore, you don't have to pretend to be important anymore

Hey, Sad Savior, you don't have to pretend to be an orphan anymore

VERSE 3: Oh never, not ever again, it's what you swore, last time this happened, never not ever again, are you gonna settle for those bastards. Never, not ever again, never not ever again, it's what you swore...

CHORUS: You don't have to pretend to be an orphan anymore, you don't have to pretend to be important anymore

Hey, Sad Savior, you don't have to pretend to be an orphan anymore

UPDATE 2 - 12:30 - WHO ARE YOU ANYWAY?

VERSE 1: Oh when the firing finally stops, and our weapons start to drop, Oh we like what we see, Oh we like what we see, Well I'll be completely confident that it is worth the time I spent, Oh I like what I see, Oh I like what I see...

BRIDGE: Oh I still have all these questions (you won't talk, won't follow through), when I ask you for an answer, that's when you say you'll have one soon.

CHORUS: Who are you to think, to think you're worth the wait? (Well are you worth the wait? Are you worth the wait?) Is it worth it?

Who are you to think, to think you're worth the wait? (Are you worth the wait? Are you worth the wait?) Is it worth it?

VERSE 2: (Is it, is it, is it?) Is it when the smoke bombs finally clear, we find our problems disappear, Oh we like what we see, Well we like what we see. When I was assessing damage done, will I be smart enough to run, if I don't like what I see, I don't like what I see.

VERSE 3: Oh, just say you like what you see, say you like what you see, don't you like what you see. (Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it worth it? Is it? Is it? Is it? Is it worth it? Are you worth the wait? Are you worth the wait?)

CHORUS: Who are you to think, to think you're worth the wait? (Well are you worth the wait? Are you worth the wait?) Is it worth it?

Who are you to think, to think you're worth the wait? (Are you worth the wait? Are you worth the wait?) Is it worth it?

UPDATE 3 - 12:35 - MONEY (LET IT GO)

VERSE 1: Get gone, before it gets too late. Keep on, keep on keeping away. I called her disinterest, you (? ? ?). This was all your fault, doesn't matter what you're doing, All this was on you, on you.

BRIDGE: You know you had it coming, you got what you had coming, yeah you made that pig squeal.

CHORUS: (? ?) She wants all that money come on, (? ?) She wants, she wants it all, (? ?) She wants all that money come on, Let go, let go, Just let it go, go, go...

VERSE 2: Get gone, keep on keeping away. Get gone, sit around and wait. Well all that time you wasted, complain-complain-complain... Well darlin' I would beg but she knew what she was doing, everything you say.

VERSE 3: She walks in and out of bed, with those long, long legs. Everything you say, you lost along, you lost along the way. Get gone, yeah you keep on keeping away.

CHORUS: (? ?) She wants all that money come on, (? ?) She wants, she wants it all, (? ?) She wants all that money come on, Let go, let go, Just let it go, go, go...

UPDATE 4 - 12:45 - IT DOESN'T FEEL A THING LIKE FALLING

VERSE 1: You can't, you can't forgive yourself. I don't blame you. But there's times I can't tell who you are anymore, if I ever even knew.

BRIDGE: What exactly do you want to hear? What exactly are we doing here? You're indecision and slow incision cuts what little we have left.

CHORUS: No it doesn't feel a thing like falling (It doesn't feel a thing like falling), I can't feel a thing as I watch you move in and out the door...

VERSE 2: You can't, you can't forgive yourself. I don't blame you. There's times where I can't see a way out of this hole you've dug us into.

BRIDGE: What exactly do you want from me? Yeah who exactly did you want me to be? Your indecision, oh this this endless friction burns what little we have left.

CHORUS: It doesn't feel a thing like falling (It doesn't feel a thing like falling), I can't feel a thing as I watch you move in and out the door...

UPDATE 5 - 12:45 - SINCE YOU'RE GONE

VERSE 1: Since you're gone, I don't go out, I (like?) the house. Yeah and since you're gone, the days and nights are long.

BRIDGE: Oh this is nothing like I've pictured, forgot what it was like to miss you. There's no one to take for granted now you're gone.

CHORUS: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Come back, Come back, oh I don't know what I'm s'posed to do with myself, Come back, Come back... Well come back.

VERSE 2: Since you're gone, I like the house I keep the curtains closed. Since you're gone, I don't do much of anything at all.

VERSE 3: Oh no, I've forgotten what it's like to miss you. Oh, oh no, I didn't know this will be nothing like I pictured. Oh, oh no, I've forgotten what it's like to miss you. Oh, oh no, oh, oh no.

CHORUS: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Come back, Come back, oh I don't know what I'm s'posed to do with myself, Come back, Come back... Well come back.

UPDATE 6 - 12:50 - YOU GOT ME

VERSE 1: I was there when you were lonely, I was there when you were bored, I was there when you were feeling scared, and you were not sure what for. I was there when you found out, you were madder than hell, you were scared I was scared we were scared, though I did not let that show.

CHORUS: 'Cause you got me if you want me, You got me, It's right where I should be... (repeat)

VERSE 2: I was there when you were worried, I was there when you were sick. I was there in you were positives that this was not happening. I was there with your father, oh he was madder than hell. He was scared you were scared I was scared, though I did not let that show.

CHORUS: 'Cause you got me if you want me, You got me, It's right where I should be... (repeat)

VERSE 3: You said it's my body boy, and your body looking, for Christ sakes we're just kids, you didn't want to do it alone, so let's just say you do it alone. I was there when you were lonely, I was there when you were bored, I was there when you were feeling scared, and you were not sure what for.

CHORUS: 'Cause you got me if you want me, You got me, It's right where I should be... (repeat)

VERSE 4: I was there when you were lonely, I was there when you were bored, I was there when you were feeling scared, and you were not sure what for. I was there when you found out, oh you were madder than hell, I was scare you were scared we were scared, though I did not let that show.

UPDATE 7 - 12:50 - CALL ME IN THE MORNING

VERSE 1: Oh I don't know where you're going, but I know where you've been. I've been tracing all your footsteps, been counting up your sins.

BRIDGE: A ticking bomb, a false alarm, wrecking ball, you left before I had the chance to say...

CHORUS: Just call me in the morning, Call me when you're home, I know what you've been through, don't let go. (Don't let go...)

VERSE 2: Oh you reached into my mouth, pulled out a single bloody tooth, I've never shown that to anyone, yeah no one knows but you.

BRIDGE: A ticking bomb, a false alarm, wrecking ball, I left before you had the chance to say...

CHORUS: Just call me in the morning, Call me when you're home, I know what you've been through, don't let go, honey, don't let go.

Just call me in the morning, Call me when you're home. I know what you've been through, don't let go...

Oh, oh, you never knew that it would take so long, so I'll just stand here, right where you belong. I don't know where we're going, but I know where we've been, we've been hiding from each other, been hiding from our sins.

CHORUS: Call me in the morning, Call me when you're home, I know what you've been through, don't let go, honey, don't let go.

Don't know where we're going, but I know where we've been, we've been hiding from each other, we've been hiding from our sins.

Call me when you're home, I know what you've been through, don't let go.

Thanks to Tumnus from TBSUnion for correcting some of the lyrics above.

TBS Already Thinking About Next Album

Taking Back Sunday's self-titled album hasn't even released yet, but according to an article by Billboard.com, they're already thinking about their next. An excerpt from the article:

"We're constantly writing with one another," Lazzara tells Billboard.com. Once Taking Back Sunday hits the road on June 14 to start promoting "Taking Back Sunday" -- which is due out June 28 -- he predicts that "the whole time we'll be working on new material, too. This is where everybody's head is at; it's not like, 'Oh, we're getting back together and doing a reunion record.' It's not anything like that. We're definitely moving forward and into the future."

Lazzara says the group did record another seven or eight songs in addition to the 11 on the Eric Valentine-produced "Taking Back Sunday." They'll be used for B-sides and special packages but also, he feels, "are like good stepping stones towards our future record." And, Lazzara adds, "There's little ideas we were kicking around that never really got the attention they needed because of the other songs. There's definitely little things that we have that just need a little more work."

TBSHub.com will definitely let you know as any news releases about Taking Back Sunday's next album -- though we're thinking this was just a teaser for now.

TBS Tour Notes: Portland, Oregon, 6/17/2011 (RECAP)

Yesterday we brought you live updates from Taking Back Sunday's third show on the North American Summer Tour, in Portland, Oregon. Today we bring you a recap & review from TBSHub.com contributor Cody, who was at the show. It contains some interesting details about what you might expect on future shows of the tour. Cody reports:

I got to the show a little late. My buddy didn't get off work until six o' clock and it's about an hour and a half drive up to Portland from where I live. So we missed the first two bands. But we got there a while before Thursday played. My friend told me during one of the songs that Eddie got up there and sang. I had turned my head a way for just a second and must have missed him. Next Taking Back Sunday was up.

They started the set off at full blast with El Paso. Next was the hit MakeDamnSure and then the classic Bike Scene. They went on to play Liar, 180 by Summer, and Error Operator. And from there Faith and Timberwolves at New Jersey.

They slowed things down a bit with the Straylight Run song Existentialism on Prom Night. It featured Adam on an acoustic guitar and John on piano. Although I would have preferred to hear John singing lead on that song, Adam did.

What's it Feel Like to be a Ghost started the action back up again. A Decade Under the Influence followed, wherein Eddie Flipped off the crown as every one sang “To Hell with you and All your friends."

My personal favorite Taking Back Sunday song came next: Everything Must Go. Adam told a story about it that I had never heard before. He said he used to live in Texas. When he went back he said some crazy stuff went on and he was curious as to what would have happened if he had stayed. Which put a totally different perspective on the song. I had always wondered what exactly it was about. Adam also played electric guitar and John was on piano.

The new Best Places to Be a Mom was next. Adam said he got in trouble for releasing it on sound cloud. They played You're so Last Summer and Spin next. At the end of Spin Adam said they might not play that song any more because it was too hard on his voice. He took off his shoes for some reason too.

Taking Back Sunday then went on to play This is All Now. Adam then said they didn't really plan on doing an encore for this tour because they didn't want to lie to us and say they were done when they weren't and then Adam asked for requests. That's when Ghost Man on Third was played.

To end the night Cute without the E was played. I was a bit disappointed that there was no encore. But all in all it was a great show the guy I went with said it was the best show he has went to and see has seen them before. It was my first time seeing them live, and it might have been my favorite concert experience to date.

If you're going to a concert and would like to contribute a setlist and/or review to TBSHub.com, we would greatly appreciate it. Please e-mail jonathan[at]tbshub.com. if you're interested.
