BIG NEWS -- Taking Back Sunday has released the first official studio song from its upcoming self-titled album! The song is called El Paso, and you can listen to it here!
Taking Back Sunday will be playing Sunfest in West Palm Beach, FL, on April 29th, 2011, the day before their appearance at Bamboozle in New Jersey, and a day after a tour date in Pennsylvania. That's a lot of traveling!
Taking Back Sunday is promising big news this week, and we'll continue to update the site as the news comes in.
Taking Back Sunday has announced that it will be playing the Reading and Leeds UK festivals this August. The band will be playing alongside Muse at the Leeds Festival on August 26 and at the Reading Festival on August 28. For more details and to purchase tickets, click here.
The slow trickle of Taking Back Sunday tour news continues... today, TBS announced a May 2011 UK tour. Tickets go on sale here on March 11th at 9 a.m. local time. The dates and poster are as follows:

UDPATE: Taking Back Sunday has added two UK tour dates since the last update -- see above (May 9th and May 10th).
Is Taking Back Sunday building a mini-tour around its upcoming Bamboozle date? That's what it seems like, as today Taking Back Sunday announced that it will doing a show at Lupo's in Providence, RI, on April
29th 27th, a day three days before their Bamboozle appearance, as well as at Northern Lights in Clifton Park, NY, on May 1st, the day after their Bamboozle date. The band had already announced a show in Stroudsburg, PA, for April 28th.
For the Providence show, Taking Back Sunday will be playing with Circa Survive and Primitive Weapons. Tickets go on sale on Friday, February 25th, at noon, and you can buy tickets here.
For the Clifton Park show, Taking Back Sunday will be playing with Gatsby's American Dream and Primitive Weapons. Tickets go on sale at Ticketmaster.com on Saturday, February 26th, at 10 a.m.

UPDATE: As you'll notice above, there's been a slight change in TBS' touring schedule: the Providence show is now on April 27th, not April 29th.
UPDATE 2: Yet another tour date has been announced -- Taking Back Sunday will be doing "Nest Fest" at Florida Gulf Coast University in Estero, FL, on April 8th. They'll be appearing alongside 30H!3, Jack's Mannequin, and The Maine! Tickets went on sale for $12 yesterday for FGCU students (this increases to $22 after March 30), and they go on sale to the general public on March 11 for $22. We know that many of you are chomping at the bits for Taking Back Sunday news, so we thought we'd update you on a couple new developments from the past few days.
First, Taking Back Sunday is finished recording its fifth studio album! The band had this to say on its Facebook page recently: "So the recording is done. Just waiting for our trusty producer to get everything in order to start mixing. Working on the artwork. Getting closer, we promise!"
The band has also announced a new tour date - before their appearance at Bamboozle, Taking Back Sunday will be "warming up" with a show at East Stroudsburg University in Stroudsburg, PA, on April 28th. Supporting acts TBA. Presale is going on now through January 30th at Ticketmaster -- the pre-sale password is SHERMANTBS. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on January 31st

Taking Back Sunday has unveiled a limited edition moto jean jacket, which is on sale now at their online store.
According to the band, the design on the back comes from one of Eddie's tattoos, and the front and back patches are stitched on.
