Taking Back Sunday Announces Hurricane Sandy Relief Shows + Other Charity Events

Taking Back Sunday has announced that its Nov. 16th and Nov. 25th shows at Starland Ballroom in NJ will now be combined into one large show on Nov. 25th at Pine Belt Arena in NJ with proceeds going to the Toms River Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund. Furthermore, the band will now play a show at the Best Buy Theater in New York City on Nov. 16th, with 100% of net ticket proceeds going to Long Island relief efforts. On a related note, the band is now holding an auction for tickets, beat-the-line passes, a signed setlist, and a signed guitar to its remaining east coast shows, with proceeds also going to "East Coast musicians who are affected by hurricane sandy." For more details, click here.

Finally, Taking Back Sunday is asking everyone going to its Nov. 21st in Long Island to bring a non-perishable food item to support Long Island Cares, Inc.-The Harry Chapin Food Bank. At the same show, the band will hold a "special raffle to win a custom-framed drum head signed by each of the members of Taking Back Sunday as part of their “Beat An End to Hunger” campaign."
